OMAHA, Neb. (AP) – A New York man faces federal charges in a sex case that prompted an Amber Alert last week in north-central Nebraska. Six Nebraska communities will receive $1.9 million in grants to help them pay for various public works projects. The Nebraska Department of Economic Development recently announced the grants to Alma, Elwood, Genoa, Loup City, Pleasanton and Wolbach.
