Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ord with Reverend Glenda Pearson officiating. Burial will be in the Ord City Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the funeral on Wednesday at the church. Memorials are suggested toward a cemetery headstone for Donnie. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Coleman was born December 30, 1936, to Chester C. and Lily (Hanson) Coleman in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He attended Ord High School.
Donnie spent his life in Ord where he worked at the Ord Theatre, and also cleaned and ran errands for local businesses. Donnie was a friend to everyone. His kindhearted spirit and handshake will be missed by the entire community.
Donnie was a member of the Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. While living at the Valley View Living Center he enjoyed puzzles and visits from Andreesen’s dog, Snoopy.
He is survived by many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
