 Lambert A. Danczak, 79, of Burwell, Nebraska died at his home on January 6, 2013.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burwell, Nebraska. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in Burwell. Fr. Tom Ryan and Fr. Mark Maresh will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell is in charge of arrangements.
Lambert was born June 13, 1933 in Valley County, Nebraska. As a small child his family moved near Burwell. He graduated from Burwell High School in 1952. He then entered the United States Army and was honorably discharge two years later. After returning home Lambert farmed and ranched with his dad and brother, Alex.
On April 4, 1964 Lambert married Loretta May in Cheney, Nebraska. They continued to live on the same place near Burwell. Lambert had lived there since he was two years old.
He enjoyed his grandchildren, cattle, building things, rodeo, gardening, nature and the out doors.
Lambert is survived by his wife Loretta Danczak of Burwell, Nebraska. Three children; Beth and Randy Brown of Kearney, Nebraska, Debra and Rob Niemeyer of Manhattan, Kansas and Lee and Theresa Danczak of Gretna, Nebraska. Eight grandchildren, Justin Brown of Sugar Land, Texas, Cody Brown of Kearney, Nebraska, Jessica Niemeyer, Luke Niemeyer and Kadin Niemeyer all of Manhattan, Kansas, Raegan Danczak, Devyn Danczak and Eli Danczak all of Greta, Nebraska.
Lambert was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, two sisters, Monica Danczak and Kay Schram and one brother, Alex Danczak.
