Naomi was born February 12, 1927, on a farm near Murdock, Nebraska to Leo Rikli and Edna (Johannsen) Rikli. She received her education in Murdock, Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for one year majoring in home economics.
On April 1, 1945, Naomi was united in marriage to Lloyd Archie Geweke at the Murdock Evangelical Brethren Church. After their marriage, Naomi joined Lloyd in their farming and ranching operation south of Ord, Nebraska. Naomi was a very active farm wife and immediately became Lloyd’s partner in the family business. She helped Lloyd work cattle, work the fields and actively participated in the horse breeding operation, but still was always able to get to the house in time to cook fabulous meals for everyone who was helping with the operation. She was very actively involved in her church in many ways especially in preparing church dinners.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Lloyd Geweke; a daughter, Jean Stowell and husband Bob, daughter-in-law, Carol Keyser and husband Bill Keyser; grandchildren, Dahn Hagge and husband Mark, Barry Geweke and wife Kelly, Kris Cullers and husband, Randy, Vicki Edwards and husband, Clint, Will Stowell, and Bobbi Augustyn and husband, Zach. Seventeen great grandchildren; and many relatives and friends also remain to cherish her memory.
