New Teachers At Ord Public Schools

Industrial Arts/Agri. Science– Mr. Cory Beran has been hired to fill the position of Industrial Arts/Ag Teacher for the 2012-13 School Year. Cory grew up in Sargent, Nebraska on the family farm/ranch operation, and expressed a strong passion for this area in his life. Mr. Beran student taught in Ord during the 2011-12 school year. He is looking forward to the chance to express to students that hard work is the means to a successful future.

Elementary Special Education – Mrs. Jodi Geiser has been hired as the new Elementary Special Education Teacher. Mrs. Geiser graduated from UNK in 2005 and has spent the past seven years in North Loup Scotia working with students in the area of special needs. Jodi and her husband Grant live in Ord, and have three children Cade 8, Jace 7 and Grey 4. Jodi has a wealth of knowledge and experience in her field, and is excited to get started at Ord Elementary.

Vocal Music Instruction – Mr. Jesse Rosberg has been hired to take over the Vocal Music position at Ord Public Schools. Jesse calls Plainview, NE home and is a Wayne State College Graduate. Mr. Rosberg was a select show choir singer with the Madrigal singers at Wayne State and comes with a wealth of musical knowledge and background. Jesse expressed his excitement to begin his career in Ord and a community that supports education and young people.

Jr. High Reading – Mrs. Heather Fox has been hired as the Jr.High Reading Instructor. Heather is an enthusiastic, energetic individual with a passion for kids and helping them learn to read. Mrs. Fox taught in St. Paul for a semester last year, and is anxious to have the opportunity to work for Ord Public Schools. Heather is married to Casey, and has two daughters Brooklyn and Avarie.
