The search for a new CEO for the Valley County Health System is nearing the interview process. The VCHS Board of Trustees along with the Human Capitol Group, Executive Search Firm considered 186 candidates for the position then narrowed the best of the group that best fits the position. Several key requirements for the CEO position include a Masters Degree in Health Care or Business and prior experience in Critical Access Hospital administration at the executive level. The Board reviewed the recommended candidates and has selected four candidates to personally interview within the next two weeks. The finalists will be asked to return for a follow-up visit.
