Attorneys seek to exclude evidence in Vogeler Case

Bartlett, Neb. – Valley County Supervisor Craig Vogeler of North Loup, Nebraska appeared in Wheeler County District Court again on Monday where he is facing charges including first degree sexual assault for an incident involving a then 13 year old girl at a fourth of July party at Lake Ericson, Nebraska.

A Daubert hearing has been scheduled for July 19th at 1 pm. In a Daubert hearing evidence and expert witness testimony is sought to be excluded from trial.

Vogeler, 52, is formally charged with three felonies and faces up to 60 years in prison.

This is Vogeler’s final year of his term as a Valley County Supervisor. He did not file for re-election.
