Loup Valley Road Riders Press Release
A Benefit Ride, Supper, & Auction has been planned to help raise money for Izie Hill & her Family to help them with medical expenses currently being incurred by the family as little Izabella fights for her life battling against cancerous brain tumors, known as medulloblastoma. Izie is only 3 years old but is giving a valiant fight to try & beat this disease! Both she & her family need all of the love, prayers, & support that we can give them to help them win this battle against cancer!
The Loup Valley Road Riders have decided to organize a Benefit Ride along with a Supper & Auction to try & raise as much as possible to help out the Hill Family who are residents of Comstock. The ride will be held on Sunday, August 15th with registration starting at 9:00 am at The Den in Comstock & the last group leaving at 10:30 am. Registration fee for the ride is $15.00/single or $25.00/couple plus 1 canned or non-perishable food item per entry with proceeds to benefit the Hill Family. This ride is not limited to just motorcycles, anyone is encouraged to participate & you are welcome to drive your car, pickup, or other vehicle along on the route and take part in the fun. The ride will follow a route and end up back in Comstock sometime mid-afternoon. If you can’t make the ride, come for the Freewill Offering Supper to be served following the ride and that will be followed with an Auction of an assortment of items donated for the Benefit. In addition to the Loup Valley Road Riders, this event is also being sponsored by the Sargent Lions Club and there are also members of The Sandhills Chapter of American Legion Riders assisting with the plans & organizing of this event. If you are unable to attend or take part in some or all of this event and would like to help in some way, a fund has been established at the First National Bank in both Ord & Sargent where you can leave a donation to help the family and we are still looking for more items to be donated for the auction so please contact one of the people listed here or on the flyer if you have something to donate to the cause.
