Construction Begins at Ord High School

Posted by Johnnie James On June - 10 - 2010

Renovation has begun on Ord High School's 1928 building

The Ord school board, in a special Meeting on Tuesday, June 8th, approved the low bids for construction and remodeling at the High School. The asbestos and ceilings in the commons area and offices have been removed, thus the demolition stage of the remodeling has begun.

If the weather would cooperate, they are ready to start pouring concrete for the foundations of the new structure.
