Housing lots are now available for purchase in Ord’s Rolling Hills Subdivision. Valley County Economic Development announced today that lots are available for both market rate and income-qualified homes in the new subdivision on the West side of Ord. Income-qualified buyers are eligible for up to $37,000 in downpayment assistance.
The Rolling Hills Subdivision broke ground a year ago as part of the state of Nebraska’s New Neighborhoods initiative. At that time project partners also announced the addition of a companion project, Rolling Hills Townhomes, to help meet the growing need for retiree housing. That 12 unit townhome project is also nearing completion.
