Wendy O’Neel of Elyria was rounding up cattle west of Sargent Saturday afternoon when her horse stumbled, throwing O’Neel, and then rolled on top of her.
O’Neel was lifeflighted to Kearney, where she was unresponsive. O’Neel was taken off of life support and died Monday afternoon at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
