Ord Chantilcleers Hold Down Town Pep Rally for Homecoming

The Ord Chanticleers won their Homecoming game Friday night against the O’Neill Eagles in a nail biter of a game with a final score of 15 – 13. The game was stalled briefly in the fourth quarter with 4:17 remaining due to dangerous lightning in the area along with tornado watches.

The Homecoming King and Queen were accnounced at the game. This yearJohnny Ference and Katie Peterson crowned.

The community of Ord including students, faculty and staff paraded to the Valley County Courthouse lawn to celebrate with a pep rally before the game that evening.
