The Ord Seniors defeated Loup City 10-5 at Johnson Field behind the pitching of Michael Shafer and relief help from Ryan Callan in the 7th. Shafer struck out 4 and walked two in 6 innings on the mound. Callan came on in the 7th and struck out the side.
Jacob Zangger was 1-2 with a double, and Dylan Smedra was 2-2 with a double. Spencer Hoevet also had a double.
The Ord Seniors advance their record to 3-2 and 3-0 in League play.
The Ord Juniors were defeated by the Loup City Juniors 12-9 at Johnson Field in Ord. Dylan Smedra started and was relieved by Matt Quick in the 4th.
Smedra was 2-4 with a double and three RBI’s and Quick was 3-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI. Kamron Dawe was 2-3.
The Ord seniors will play TBS in the O’Neill tourny Saturday at 2pm. Ord will take on O’Neill Sunday at 1pm and Crofton at 4pm
