Region 26 Emergency Management and area Volunteer Fire Departments would like to ask the local Farmers and Ranchers for help in keeping fire danger down while harvesting. They are requesting that you carry a Fire Extinguisher in your combine, tractor or pickup during the drought conditions we are facing. This precaution can help prevent possible equipment and property destruction or a major fire before help can arrive. While there has been a lot of harvest complete, we are still facing extreme fire conditions and are asking for your help.
