Saturday is kid’s day in Burwell

Posted by Lynn Daily On December - 5 - 2011

On Saturday, December 10th, the Burwell Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a couple of special activities just for children.

Starting at 1:00 P.M. Santa Claus will visit Burwell at the Community Memorial Health Center on North 8th Avenue. Santa wants to talk to children – of all ages – until 2:30 P.M. Kids can have lots of fun decorating Christmas ornaments while enjoying an “old fashioned” Christmas with the residents of Community Memorial Health Center.

At 3:00 P.M. on Saturday afternoon, December 10th, all children (under 18) will be treated to a free movie and popcorn at the Rodeo Theater. The movie is going to be a surprise, but is promised to be fun and get everyone into the spirit of Christmas. Parents are asked to accompany their children under six years of age.

For more information about these events, contact the Burwell Chamber of Commerce at

308-346-5210.
