Managing stormwater runoff is a serious issue facing local governments concerned with controlling flooding, degradation of local water quality, as well as preventing the spread of litter and soil erosion.
This Keep America Beautiful webinar will feature leading experts in the field who will provide information about how to abate the problems associated with stormwater runoff, specifically through community greening efforts.
Clark Wilson, widely recognized as an authority on the subject, practiced architecture and planning before joining the US EPA. He will address the problem of stormwater runoff from a national perspective. Linda Walczak from Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will talk about specific solutions using plant material as will Melanie Allen from Keep Kansas City Beautiful.
