District 41 Legislature Candidates Brook Curtis and Senator Kate Sullivan at Ord High School on Wednesday, October 10, 2012
The Ord High School Government class held a discussion forum between District 41 Legislature candidates this morning, Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Senator Kate Sullivan and Brook Curtis answered questions from a panel of the students ranging from issues concerning: The effects of the Keystone XL Pipeline on the economy and the environment, keeping our youth in the rural areas from moving to urban areas, renewable energy resources in Nebraska, how to spend the budget and where to make budget cuts. The candidates answered the students questions in debate fashion and held their ground with their own opinions.
