Saturday, December 8th was a big day for the little ones in the Burwell area. Santa Claus made an appearance at the Community Memorial Health Center, and children enjoyed spending the afternoon with Mrs. Clause while participating in craft activities and enjoying homemade Christmas cookies at the Burwell Legion Club.
Almost seventy children had their photos taken with Santa at CMHC. The day’s events were sponsored by the Burwell Chamber of Commerce and Community Memorial Health Center.
Parents of children that had their photo taken with Santa are encouraged go to the “Burwell Nebraska” Facebook page to see and download the photos. The following steps will help:
1. Once on the Burwell Nebraska Facebook page, click on “Photos” and you will see the most recent photo albums entitled “Santa in Burwell 2012 – part 1/part 2” (and so on).
2. Scroll through the photos to find your child’s.
3. You can “Download” each photo you want to your computer and print/email/post on your own Facebook page, or save to flash drive/memory stick and take for professional printing at a photo service.
4. If you are not able to access Facebook and download your photos, please call the Chamber office at 346-5210 and arrangements will be made to get the photos to you.
