Carole Woitalewicz 78 of Ord died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Rose Lane Home in Loup City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord with Father Tom Ryan and Father Mark Maresh officiating. Burial will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at the Ord Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be given to the Family. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Carole was born January 20, 1934 at Ord, NE to Charles and Lydia (Zabloudil) Lane. She was raised in Valley County and attended rural Valley County Schools. Carole was married to Richard Woitalewicz February 18, 1952 at Ord, NE. The couple lived in Valley County. Carole had worked for different restaurants in the area and also did home health care.

Carole was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Some of Carole’s hobbies included making afghans, crocheting, crafts and flowers. She also did a complete genealogy of all the sides of her family.

Survivors include a son Kenneth Woitalewicz of Ord and a daughter Lisa Woitalewicz and Dean Miska of Ord; two brothers and sister in laws Duane and Amanda Lane of Searcy, Arkansas and Dale and Jody Lane of Ord; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and an infant son Steven Woitalewicz.
