Connie R. Grossnicklaus, age 80, of Lincoln, passed away October 3rd, 2012, due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease.
Connie was born in Chambers, NE, to Richard and Lenora (Smith) Jarman on November 30, 1931. On June 12, 1949, she married Duane Grossnicklaus and made their home on a ranch near Bartlett, NE. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Connie is survived by her daughters Karen (Dennis) Pokorny of Bartlett, NE, and Sally (T.J.) Novak of Lincoln, NE, 10 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter and son in law Linda and Larry Davis, and grandson Darrin Pokorny.
Rosary will be recited at Blessed John xxiii on October 5th, 2012, with family visitation at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will be October 7th, 2012, from 6-9 P.M., at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill, NE.
Services will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on October 8th, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Chambers, NE with burial in the Bartlett Cemetery.
