The Ord City Offices better start packing their bags soon as the renovation of the former Presbyterian church is nearing the end and will be near completion by May and moving in depends on when the new furniture arrives. This according to Utility Supervisor Paul Markowski. During a recent tour of the new site, Markowski pointed out the layout of the city and police offices. Impressively enough most of the work completed on the renovation has been done by the city crew. Only hiring out jobs such as flooring, heating and air and some finishing of drywall work thus saving the city major expense. The end result for the city of Ord will be worth the wait.
