Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Korth, 76 of Greeley died Saturday, April 30, 2011, at her home in Greeley.

Mrs. Korth’s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the Scotia Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Middendorf officiating. Inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Greeley Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Family’s Choice. T.J. Finn and Sons Mortuary of Greeley is in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth Ann was born January 24, 1935, on a farm between McLean and Randolph, Nebraska to Raymond and Azalea (Long) Riessen. She was raised in McLean where she received her education and graduated in 1953.

On April 5, 1953, Elizabeth was united in marriage to Robert John Korth. While Mr. Korth served in the United States Army the couple resided in Louisiana, New Jersey and Fort Riley, Kansas. After Bob’s discharge in 1955, the couple returned to Nebraska where they resided on farms in Pierce County. They later resided in North Bend, Scotia, and Broken Bow. In 1983, they settled in Greeley. Beth spent her working years as a dietician in many facilities where they resided. She was the dietician at the Greeley Care Home until her retirement in 2008.

Beth was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Scotia. She enjoyed gardening, baking and embroidering. In their younger days the couple enjoyed camping and fishing. She especially enjoyed visiting with her friends and spending time with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Robert of Greeley; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim of Broken Bow, Jan and LeAnn of Lincoln and Jamie and Paula of North Bend; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Jill and Mike Powers of Broken Bow and Jodi and Bill Thompson of St. Paul; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Bonnie Daws of Milford her mother-in-law, Esther Korth of St. Paul; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce Korth of Pittsburg, Penn. and Jane Brown of Naperville, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, Elmer Korth; and three brothers-in-law, Willard Korth, Bob Brown and Dick Daws.

**Family gathers at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
