Eric R. Dulitz, 31 of Ord died Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Health System Hospital in Kearney.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church in Scotia with Pastor Mark Middendorf officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Scotia. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Zion Lutheran Church in Scotia or St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ord. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Eric Reed Dulitz was born May 25, 1979, at Ord, Nebraska to Wayne E. and Allison A. (Golus) Dulitz. He spent his early childhood in Scotia, Nebraska. Eric moved with his family to Ord where he received his education and graduated from Ord High School in 1997.
Following graduation Eric resided in Ord where he farmed and worked on the railroad. He also spent time in Omaha and Texas. For the past several years he has made his home in Ord. Eric was an entrepreneur and was involved in finance and investments.
He was a baptized member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Scotia. His hobbies included reading, cooking, golf, history and playing cards. Eric especially enjoyed his many friends and visiting with them.
Survivors include his mother, Allison Todsen and her husband, Steve of Ord; one brother, David Dulitz of North Loup; and his grandmother, Marjorie Golus of Ord.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Dulitz, grandfather, Leonard Golus and grandparents, L.E. and Anna Dulitz.
