Jerry Reed Schmidt, 60, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2010. A funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Arlington Funeral Home.
Final resting place will be in Arcadia, Neb. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 2, at 11:00 am at the Arcadia Cemetery.
Jerry was born Feb. 15, 1950. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hans and Cora Schmidt; and stepfather, Rex Wright. Survivors: Wife, Terri Schmidt; mother, Ann Wright; daughter, Christine Schmidt; sisters, Pam Schmidt, Cindy Drahota and Pam Kingery; brother, Tony Wright; stepchildren, Gary Langley and wife, Michelle, Jaime Bower and fiance, Jeff Conner, Coy Bower and wife, Sheli; grandchildren, Ashli Schmidt, Tyler and Zeth Langley, Audrey and Peyton Bower; and many other loving family members and friends.
