Norma Jean Johnson, 75, of Taylor, Nebraska died December 29, 2011 at her home.
Norma’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell, Nebraska. Rev. Dennis Davenport will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the family.
Norma was born in Sheridan County, Nebraska to William and Lulu (Spitler) Perreten. She graduated from Rushville High School.
Norma married Robert Davis. To this union six children were born. They were later divorced. Norma farmed and ranched in the Rushville area until 1988 when she moved to Taylor, Nebraska. She worked at various jobs and was the caretaker for her children. She enjoyed sports, the outdoors and singing in the Rushville Methodist Choir.
Norma is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Robin and Rod Sones of Rushville, Nebraska and Rayann and Shawn Hanks of Ainsworth, Nebraska. Ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Three sisters; Hazel Musfeldt of Bridgeport, Nebraska, Margaret VossMontana and Betty Voss of Ogallala, Nebraska and a brother-in-law, Bill Musfeldt of Hay Springs, Nebraska.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents. Four children, Ricky Davis as an infant, Robert Davis, Ronda Ronnfeldt and Rebecca Graham. Three sisters, Helen Moss, Ruth Mosfeldt and Lavernaand a brother William Perreten.
