BURWELL — The Burwell United Methodist Church is host to another Fall Bazaar.
The evetn sees hundreds of folks walk through the doors, looking for bake goods and home made crafts. Linda DeGroff helps run the event and says all of the money is sent elsewhere.
“Every penny from the bazaar goes to missions,” she says. “We use the money that members give and donations from funeral dinners to buy the supplies to put the bazaar on, but all of the money that is from the bazaar, every bit of it, goes to the various missions.”
DeGroff added that the community has come out year-after-year to support the effort. The two-day event brings in about $4,000 to be donated to missions.
