BURWELL — About eight days after his boat sank at the Calamus Reservoir, an Arcadia man’s body has been found.
Rescuers located Wesley Sell, 38, near the Garfield/Loup County line about 100 feet from where is boat was found and 39 feet below the surface. He was fishing on October 11th with three others when his boat took water and sank. Another adult and two teenagers were rescued that day.
The Garfield County Sheriff, Nebraska Game and parks plus volunteers from Burwell and Arcadia searched around the clock to find Sell.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, October 22 at 10:30 A.M. at the Arcadia United Methodist Church.
