ORD — The Ord School District is moving forward with efforts to keep its students safe.
Nesbitt School Security was hired earlier this year to make suggestions and create a plan for a variety of crisis situations. These vary from aircraft impact to utility failure to hazaradous material situations.
The district had plans for many of these, but the new plans cast a wider net. Nesbitt has already assisted in setting up a security camera system at both the elementary and high school. Plus, it has aided in emergency preparedness situations.
