ORD — It was a chance to remember at Valley County Health System this week as folks came by for the annual Love Light Ceremony.
The event gives people a chance to sit and reflect on loved ones lost.
“I think it kind of helps those who are grieving and have had a hard year,” Interim CEO Ashley Woodward explains. “It’s just a great way to remember those and, hopefully, just kind of recall on the memories that you had with them over past Christmas’.”
This is the fourth Love Light Ceremony VCHS has held, but this one was a little bit different. People send in names of those they are remembering and receive an ornament to place on the tree.
This year, though, an additional ornament was given for people to place on their own trees.
