ORD — Ord Public Schools released an assortment of statistics this week to show where the district is in relation to the rest of the state.
It’s all part of looking at a number of data sets to see how to better serve students.
Ord was below the state average of 44% in free and reduced lunch, while averaging close to 97% attendance.
NeSA testing had the school above the state average in math, science, writing and reading. In addition, a new system, AQuESTT, is intended to show the state where schools stand overall and which need assistance.
Ord scored a three out of four on this scale.
Overall, the school’s attendance has steadily increased from 541 in 2000 to 617 in 2015. Ord’s graduation rate is 94%, compared to a state average of 88%.
