OMAHA — It’s mission accomplished for Nebraska volleyball.
The team sweeps Texas in three sets to win the national championship at CenturyLink Arena in Omaha.
Mikaela Foecke led the team with 19 kills and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. Amber Rolfzen tallied double digit kills, as well, finishing with ten.
The win avenges a September loss to the Longhorns and was part of a 16-game winning streak to end the season.
It’s the Huskers fourth national title and first since 2006.
