LINCOLN — The number of people getting into accidents due to the influence of drugs was at a higher rate in Nebraska in 2015.
That from a new report that shows 28 Nebraskans died this year in crashes where one driver had drugs in his or her system. That’s up from 22 last year.
One reason for the rise may be increased testing, but the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety says the number are high regardless.
