LINCOLN — A double-digit lead evaporated for Nebraska men’s basketball in a 81-72 loss to Northwestern in the team’s Big Ten opener from Lincoln.
The Huskers were up 12 in the second half before wildcat freshman Dererk Pardon took over. He had 23 points after the break.
Andrew White paced Nebraska with 22.
The team is 0-5 in conference openers since joining the Big Ten in 2011.
