EVANSTON, ILL — Nebraska women’s basketball fell behind early and never recovered in a 85-62 loss to #14 Northwestern, on Sunday.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 22-4 lead and the Huskers never got closer in the loss. Natalie Romeo led the team with 17 points while Jessica Shepard tossed in 12 points and 14 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the year.
UNL begins Big Ten play 0-2.
