GRAND ISLAND — A Lincoln man and woman have been charged with human trafficking in Hall County.
Media reports have Marcuiece Johnson, 28, and Katie Brandt, 21, each facing two felony counts. Court documents show the pair engaged in labor or sexual trafficking of a woman last month.
If convicted, they could face up to 20 years in prison and a $25,000 fine. The minimum sentence is one year.
In addition, both are charged with two counts of pandering, while Johnson also faces a sexual assault charge.
