LINCOLN — Nebraska men’s basketball dominated Minnesota in an 84-59 win on Tuesday.
The Huskers were led by Shavon Shields, who scored 24 points. That includes 19 in the first half. The 25-point margin was the largest in the 64-game history between the two teams, which dates back to 1902.
It all comes just a few days after Nebraska topped Rutgers by 34. The wins are UNL’s first two after starting Big Ten play 0-3.
