NELIGH — The Nebraska Public Power District is set to begin work on a power line near Neligh.
The 39-mile project will start at a substation southwest of Hoskins and move west toward a new substation near Neligh. It will be about 345,000 volts with four 115,000-volt lines running from the new substation to existing lines.
NPPD is cautioning that a helicopter is being used to string shield wire and can be distracting to motorists.
