LINCOLN — A measure introduced in the Nebraska Unicameral would allow kids between 14 and 18 to participate in underage tobacco stings.
They would work with police or private contractors on licensee-organized, self-compliance checks. The kids could only participate as buyers if they are an employee, volunteer or intern with local law enforcement, the Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or a licensee.
The bill would prohibit the underage buyer from using the product.
