LINCOLN — Former Nebraska football player Rickey Thenarse has been given three to six years in prison for allegedly breaking into a Lincoln home last January and stealing several items.
The 27-year-old pleaded no contest and was convicted of a felony burglary charge in exchange for dropping another offense.
Thenarse played safety for the Huskers from 2006 to 2010 and was a part of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks in 2011.
