LINCOLN — A report from the Nebraska Labor Department showed the state’s unemployment rate stayed at 2.9% for December.
That’s down from 3.1% at the same time in 2014.
The national figure stands at about 5% with Nebraska tied with South Dakota for the second lowest in the nation. North Dakota has that honor, with a rate of 2.7%.
