ORD — Valley County is looking to have a flag designed for the area.
The Board of Supervisors decided this week to open a competition for a design of the flag with $500 going to the winner.
The competition is open to any resident of Valley County and the board hopes to get county schools involved, as well.
Submissions are due by June 14th. After that, the group will meet and decided on a design. That will be unveiled at this summer’s Valley County Fair.
