PISCATAWAY, NJ — Nebraska women’s basketball fell apart late in a 66-56 loss to Rutgers, on Saturday.
The game was tied at 49 with 6:50 to play, but a 9-2 run by the Scarlet Knights ended up being the difference.
Jessica Shepard managed 23 points in the loss, while Natalie Romeo tossed in 18.
It’s the team’s sixth loss of the year and fourth in Big Ten play.
