MADISON, WI — Nebraska men’s basketball fell behind early and never recovered in a 72-61 loss at Wisconsin, on Wednesday.
The Huskers gave up a 13-2 run midway through the first half and trailed the rest of the way. Glynn Watson, Jr. led the squad with 16 points.
Nebraska was without Shavon Shields, who missed his first game after suffering a head injury in Saturday’s win against Rutgers. He had made 106 consecutive starts.
