ORD — In an effort to simplify the process, Valley County is changing the length of leases on county farm land.
Part of this land is behind the Mortensen Industrial Site, just north of Ord. Last year, the Board of Supervisors changed the lease from three years to one because a couple of businesses at the site were looking to expand.
This correction will allow whoever gets the new lease for this property to have it until February 2018.
That matches when the lease is up for another piece of county farm land
The bidding date is set for March 8th.
