BURWELL — This Saturday at the Plain Valley School in Burwell, folks can come by and experiment with recycled art.
Participants are asked to bring a cutting mat, rotary cutter, clothespins and whatever other items they want to use to make their piece of art.
Amy Hughes of KLBB says its helps keep people mindful of what can be done with reusable items, but there’s also more that can be learned. “You can create something beautiful to hang in your home, or unique and one of a kind,” she explains.
“[You can] use that artistic side of your brain and make something that nobody else is going to have,” Hughes adds.
The workshop runs from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday and is free to both kids and adults.
