LINCOLN — Nebraska’s Jessica Shepard has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
The forward scored 47 points in two games this past week and became the first Husker freshman to score 500 points in a season. She now stands at 514.
Shepard has earned freshman of the week ten times this season.
