STATE COLLEGE, PA — A free throw in the final seconds sends Nebraska men’s basketball to a third straight loss in a 56-55 defeat to Penn State on Thursday.
The Huskers made a huge come back in this one. They trailed by 18 with less than 15 minutes to play, but got within two in the final minutes.
Shavon Shields led Nebraska with 25 points. It’s the teams seventh loss in the last nine games.
