SAN DIEGO, CA — Nebraska baseball fell behind early and never recovered in a 17-5 loss to San Diego, on Friday.
It’s all part of a three-game weekend set for the Huskers in the Tony Gwynn Classic from Southern California
The team surrendered eight runs in the bottom of the first and four runs in the other two frames. On the other side, UNL didn’t score until the sixth when the score was already 13-0.
It takes on Arizona on Saturday.
