COLUMBUS — A team from Ord High School took the top spot in the Central Region Envirothon this week.
The event was sponsored by the Lower Loup and Central Platte NRD’s and featured competitions in forestry, natural resource policy, range, soils, aquatics, wildlife and invasive species.
Ord’s team featured Will Kusant, Asha Scheideler, Chance Williams, Kasey Hornickel and Wyatt Williams.
12 other schools competed including St. Paul, Palmer, Boone Central, Loup City and Newman Grove.
