ELYRIA — An Elyria woman will face a jury trial after pleading not guilty to assault and other charges.
Chelsey Welton was arrested in January and charged with third-degree assault, domestic assault, trespassing and criminal mischief.
If found guilty, the 24-year-old could face more than a year in prison, more than $1,000 in fines or both.
The trial is set for April 4th.
